We are pleased to announce the sale of Michael Taylor Designs, Inc. to LCP Investments, Inc., a new company formed by Mr. Lee Pierce.
Since 1999, Lee has served as the President of Lee Pierce Holdings, a real estate development and holding company. From 1987 to 1999, Lee was the CEO and President of Rucker Fuller, a San Francisco Steelcase Dealership, which became the largest, most successful dealership in the market. The business grew to be a Top Five performer nationally for Steelcase and Lee served two years as President of the Steelcase Dealer Council. Previously, Lee also served as Vice President of Sales for Knoll International in New York.
According to Lee, "I am excited about the possibilities for growing the Michael Taylor Designs brand with new products and programs. I have a strong respect for the quality and expectations that the brand represents. The company will continue to serve the interior design trade with creativity and responsiveness. We also plan to enhance our position by seeking additional lines to represent or acquire."
Michael Taylor Designs, Inc. will continue to operate company showrooms in San Francisco, Los Angeles in the Pacific Design Center, Chicago in the Merchandise Mart, New York in the Decoration & Design Building, and Dania, Florida at the Design Center of the Americas. The company is also represented in Dallas by Cory Pope Designs, Denver by Nanette Nielsen, and Atlanta by Jerry Pair & Associates.
