Announcing Michael Taylor: Interior Design
We are pleased to announce the release of the first book dedicated exclusively to the work of Michael Taylor. The book features his most significant projects highlighting key design elements that inspired the development of his furniture collection. The author Stephen Salny was granted unprecedented access to Taylor's clients, associates and dozens of Taylor's preserved interiors. Many of the furniture designs featured in the book are available to the trade through Michael Taylor Designs.
According to the book jacket, "Among the notable interiors covered in this lavishly illustrated book are Taylor's own Sea Cliff home and office; the restaurant Fleur de Lys in San Francisco, California (1970); the Auberge de Soleil in Napa Valley, California (1980); a villa for a sheikh in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia (1982); and fifty commissions for a wide variety of clients around the world."
